
Funding for innovative, action-based climate adaptation research projects.
ELIGIBILITY
Lead applicants must be based at a UK academic institution eligible for UKRI funding, with academic-community collaborations strongly encouraged. This could include working in close partnership with local organisations such as community groups, local authorities, businesses and voluntary sector organisations. Other stakeholder groups may be involved where relevant to the project goals.
Projects should be:
- grounded in meaningful community partnerships
- focused on implementing or scaling adaptation actions
- centred on vulnerable groups most at risk from climate change
- supportive of integrated, sectoral, and just transition pathways
VALUE AND DURATION
10 projects will receive up to £55,000 for up to 12 months.
