Council (BBSRC) scientific <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukri.org\/councils\/bbsrc\/remit-programmes-and-priorities\/\">remit<\/a>, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>plants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>microbes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>animals and humans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tools and technology underpinning biological research<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigations within and across scales are supported, from molecules and cells, to tissues, whole organisms, populations and landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding is available for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>research projects, including data intensive and technology development projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>equipment or use of existing facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>community resources, new facilities or infrastructure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>research networks and coordination<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>summer schools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Multidisciplinary proposals that cross into other research council areas are welcome, but the primary focus of the work should fall within BBSRC\u2019s remit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-decoration:underline\">VALUE AND DURATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Awards of up to \u00a32,000,000 are available for up to five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
