These have been delivered via initiatives such as data collection and analysis, workshops, conferences and hackathons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications relating to a range of audiences will be considered, including different age groups, career stages, geographical regions and sectors. For further detail on audiences for inclusion and diversity activities, please see RSC\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rsc.org\/policy-evidence-campaigns\/inclusion-diversity\/\"><strong>inclusion and diversity strategy<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scheme is open to everyone, including members of the RSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of restrictions, these grants will not be awarded to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Projects which do not focus on investigating or addressing inclusion and diversity issues (i.e. outreach projects or chemistry research projects).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects whose primary aim is to generate a financial surplus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects for which RSC support would not significantly enhance the activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects that are part of an education institution&#8217;s usual programme of activities, including Open Days and Taster Days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cover the cost of general purpose hardware, apparatus or equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cover any employment costs of project staff that receive a salary from the applying organisation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants of up to \u00a35000 are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: 30 September 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full details, including assessment criteria and previously funded projects, can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rsc.org\/prizes-funding\/funding\/find-funding\/inclusion-diversity-fund\/\"><strong>opportunity webpage<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Funding for innovative products, activities and projects that make the chemical sciences more inclusive and diverse.
