{"id":701,"date":"2024-08-27T11:10:58","date_gmt":"2024-08-27T11:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/?p=701"},"modified":"2024-08-27T15:39:56","modified_gmt":"2024-08-27T15:39:56","slug":"ba-academy-research-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/?p=701","title":{"rendered":"BA Academy Research Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"283\" height=\"114\" src=\"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/BA-logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-429\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Funding to support primary research in the humanities and social sciences, particularly collaborative projects intended <strong>to produce primary resources for other researchers and the wider public<\/strong>, and which have a clear focus on longer-term sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scheme offers the kitemark of academic excellence to ambitious long-term projects which aim to produce primary resources for research which will be accessible to the research community for collective benefit and fundamental works of scholarship (rather than to produce interpretative works or monographs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funds are available for any combination of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To facilitate initial project planning and development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To support the direct costs of research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enable the advancement of research through workshops or visits by or to partner scholars.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications for collaborative or discrete research projects are equally welcome, with no preference as to mode of enquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>International groups of scholars are welcome, provided there is a UK-based scholar as lead applicant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are also welcome from existing collaborations \/ research infrastructure projects that are already in progress and have prepared or published material previously.
