{"id":1667,"date":"2025-09-03T15:47:47","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T15:47:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/?p=1667"},"modified":"2025-09-03T16:01:59","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T16:01:59","slug":"conference-awards-for-ageing-research","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/?p=1667","title":{"rendered":"Conference Awards for Ageing Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"405\" height=\"129\" src=\"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Vivensa-Foundation.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1668\" srcset=\"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Vivensa-Foundation.png 405w, https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Vivensa-Foundation-300x96.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 405px) 100vw, 405px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Funding for allied health professionals, nurses and pharmacists\u00a0who are actively involved in ageing-related research and wish to disseminate their findings at national or international conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">ELIGIBILITY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be early career researchers who do not have access to conference funds through existing grants or fellowships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be members of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vivensafoundation.org.uk\/academy\/\">Vivensa Foundation Academy<\/a> (you can easily apply to become a member at no cost &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/vivensafoundation.org.uk\/academy\/apply-to-join\/\">see here for details on applying<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have submitted a research abstract to a conference as the lead\/first author (service evaluation and quality improvement project abstracts are not eligible)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">VALUE AND DURATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Up to \u00a31,000 for UK conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Up to \u00a33,000 for international conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding can be used to cover conference registration fees, travel (standard class\/economy), and accommodation specifically related to the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">KEY DATES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may submit your funding application at the same time as your abstract submission. A&nbsp;provisional decision&nbsp;will normally be provided within&nbsp;approximately six weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is approximately \u00a310,000 available for conference awards until June 2026.
