Our Shared Future"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/NLCF-1024x500.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1486\" srcset=\"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/NLCF-1024x500.png 1024w, https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/NLCF-300x147.png 300w, https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/NLCF-768x375.png 768w, https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/NLCF-1536x751.png 1536w, https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/NLCF.png 1684w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Large grants for partnership projects that involve more people in climate action, namely reducing the negative impact of human activities on the climate and tackling the question of how to prepare for, and adapt to, the inevitable impacts of climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects are expected to reach people by either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>linking climate action to the everyday lives and interests of local communities and inspiring them to take action (this could include interests such as <strong>arts, sports and health<\/strong>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>influencing communities at a regional or national level (e.g. by campaigning for change through public engagement or helping communities to influence relevant policymakers)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects that involve people, places and communities experiencing poverty, discrimination and disadvantage are particularly welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">ELIGIBILITY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects must be developed in formal partnership with other organisations, working across sectors, and led by community\/voluntary or public sector organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partner organisations must be a:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>constituted voluntary or community organisation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>registered charity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>charitable incorporated organisation (CIO or SCIO)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not-for-profit company limited by guarantee \u2013 you must be a registered charity&nbsp;<strong>or<\/strong>&nbsp;have a not-for-profit \u2018asset lock\u2019 clause in your articles of association<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>community interest company (CIC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>school, college, <strong>university <\/strong>(as long as your project benefits and involves the wider local community)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>statutory body (including local authorities, town, parish or community councils)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>community benefit society<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>co-operative society \u2013 you must have a not-for-profit \u2018asset lock\u2019 clause in your society rules and also be registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At least one partner is expected to have experience of climate or environment work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">VALUE AND DURATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The minimum grant is \u00a3500,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is expected that most grants will be between \u00a31 million and \u00a31.5 million over three to five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\">KEY DATES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: late 2025 (final date tbc)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Full details including project requirements, detailed costing guidance and how to apply can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk\/funding\/programmes\/climate-action-fund-our-shared-future\">opportunity webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read the Community Fund climate action hub <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk\/key-initiatives\/climate-action-hub\/stories#CAFOSF\">blog <\/a>for examples of projects likely to be funded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Climate Action Fund - Our Shared Future webinar (English)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zE_CgqDCSYc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
