{"id":1397,"date":"2025-05-21T13:29:44","date_gmt":"2025-05-21T13:29:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/?p=1397"},"modified":"2025-05-21T13:29:45","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T13:29:45","slug":"open-call-for-intervention-policy-or-programme-evaluations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/?p=1397","title":{"rendered":"Open call for intervention, policy or programme evaluations"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" src=\"https:\/\/researchfunding.on.worc.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Foundations-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1399\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Foundations (the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/what-works-network\">What Works Centre<\/a> for Children and Families) is inviting proposals for evaluations of interventions, policies or programmes related to one of their four priority areas, using a quasi-experimental design (QED).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foundation\u2019s priority areas are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/foundations.org.uk\/about-us\/priority-areas\/dealing-with-domestic-abuse\/\">Domestic abuse<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/foundations.org.uk\/about-us\/priority-areas\/supporting-parenting\/\">Supporting parenting<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/foundations.org.uk\/about-us\/priority-areas\/strengthening-family-networks\/\">Strengthening family networks<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/foundations.org.uk\/about-us\/priority-areas\/building-relationships-for-care-experienced-children\/\">Relationships for care-experienced children<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\" style=\"text-decoration:underline\">ELIGIBILITY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications must also match at least one of the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>must be related to current Government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/missions\">missions<\/a> or a local practice need<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>must have a focus on equality, diversity, inclusion and equity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals are welcome from individual organisations or partnerships. While applicants do not need to hold all areas of expertise in-house, proposals should bring together the appropriate skills and experience to deliver a high-quality evaluation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have questions about what expertise may be needed for your proposal or would like suggestions on where to begin looking for suitable partners, you are welcome to email&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:evaluation@foundations.org.uk\"><strong>evaluation@foundations.org.uk<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\" style=\"text-decoration:underline\">VALUE AND DURATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is anticipated five evaluations will be funded at up to \u00a3200,000 per evaluation.
