Also welcomed are applications from UK-based organisations to carry out collaborative projects, possibly involving overseas partners, and\/or using data relating to other countries, for example where:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>these provide useful comparators or lessons to be learned for the UK experience in our areas of substantive interest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>policy or practice overseas might be adapted for the UK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\" style=\"text-decoration:underline\">VALUE AND DURATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants of up to \u00a3750,000 are available for between six months and three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The majority of grants awarded are less than \u00a3300,000 and occasionally smaller grants under \u00a315,000 are awarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications for grants towards the upper limit will be considered providing their scale represents value for money in addressing Nuffield\u2019s core areas of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-background\" style=\"text-decoration:underline\">KEY DATES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outline application deadline: 1 April 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full application deadline: June 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earliest project start: January 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note that the Nuffield Foundation offers support to shortlisted applicants, helping them to refine their proposals for maximum rigour and impact.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Further details such as funding criteria, FAQs and examples of previously funded projects can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuffieldfoundation.org\/funding\/research-development-and-analysis-fund\">opportunity webpage<\/a>.
